Taschen
In 1980, aged just 18, Benedikt Taschen opened Taschen comics in Cologne, Germany. By the time he was twenty he was producing his own catalogues and a series of innovative developments led to Taschen compiling the successful Basic Art series and the Big Art series – a blueprint the publisher continues to develop, making gorgeous travel, culture and photography books for a global audience.
