The Story:
Belgian born designer, Olivier Theyskens first combined forces with New York label Theory back in 2010 and his influence over the brand, which he often refers to as his personal project, is clear. Consolidating his success with the brand following his appointment as head of design for Theyskens’ Theory, the former Nina Ricci and Rochas designer also landed the role of global director for Theory itself later that year. Theyskens’ fluid feminine shapes gel seamlessly with the contemporary, slick tailoring synonymous with Theory’s own brand of effortless style. A sense of understanding of the needs of the twenty-first century, urban woman permeates Theyskens’ collection which presents everyday staples re-worked with his signature sense of down-town cool.
