The Chic Geek founder and author on what gifts he’d like to find under his tree
The biggest anti-climax of the year, bah humbug, Christmas is a time to take off the cynical cap and just sit back and enjoy having time off with the people you love. Because of the business I’m in, you can get a little shy about asking for anything but then if you say “nothing”, and knowing how difficult I am to buy for, you end up with either something you don’t want or cause excess stress to the person buying for you.
If I’d been a good boy this year, this is the selection that I would like to see under my tree come Christmas morning.
1. A couple of winter hats – the super-soft, chocolate shearling for when it’s really cold and this bobble hat for when I want to look like butter wouldn’t melt.
2. Perfect for midnight mass with the grandmother!
3. A classic British made staple, can never get enough of these T-shirts from Sunspel.
4. This is a nice wet weather jacket alternative, perfect for the mild weather we’ve been having.
5. I like Acne and I like this jumper.
6. These are great chinos with extra buttons for braces and leather cinch details.
7. One too many sherries and you’ll need these for the morning after the night before.
