The Story:
A truly British brand, Sanders was established in the heart of shoemaking country, Rushden, Northamptonshire in 1873. The founders, brothers William and Thomas, worked to provide shoes of exceptional quality by using the best hides, local oak-bark soles and all done at the hands of skilled craftsmen. This is a tradition that has not been lost, of which the outstanding crepe soled shoes in this collection are an example.
