The Story:

New York based designer Mara Hoffman famously burst onto our fashion radar in 2000 when Sex and the City stylist and costume designer, Patricia Field, fell head-over-heels for her first ready-to-wear collection. Field quickly bought out all the first collection samples for sale in her famous New York boutique and as a result Hoffman started to earn acclaim. A hoard of celebrity followers later, including Helena Christensen and Blake Lively, Mara launched her first swimwear line in 2008 which regularly shows at Fashion Week Swim in Miami and is going from strength to strength. Inspired by nature, travel and fantasy, Hoffman’s bold prints clearly evoke a sense of her signature bohemian style.
