The Story:
Born in 1972 in Los Angeles, James Perse spent his childhood at the beach, on the sports field and at his father's successful boutique Maxfield, where he quickly learned about fashion and became intrigued by architecture and aesthetics. His first fling with fashion saw him design the perfect baseball cap and things swiftly moved on from there. He launched his very own label in 1996 and today, James Perse is synonymous with clean lines, casual luxury and simple design.
