Leave them wanting more. That's what all the great artists do. And after just eighteen short years, the D&G brand is doing just that. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have decided to wrap the brand up and roll it into their mainline Dolce & Gabbana range from now on. That means this season will be the last ever chance for you to get the brand's playful sophistication completely undiluted.
For its finale, the range itself is a distillation of the slick, sharp, fitted look that we have come to love from the Milan masters, but with a dose of casual summer fun thrown in as washed down and super light bandana prints add a refined rococo look to the proceedings.
Our unique edit of the range even boasts some exclusives. Look for the diamond spot tie, slim-fit tux jacket, blue suede derby shoes and bandana print T-shirts. You won't find them anywhere else online in the UK.
But however you get involved, just do so before D&G stands for dead & gone. We did, and thank goodness. For, even though our hearts were heavy when we heard that the brand would be laid to rest, it truly is going out with a bang.
Get the look by teaming the slim fit shirts with a fitted and unstructured blazer, and mix up the black and whites with a pop of colour and print, from the red jeans to the blue suede derbys, leopard loafers and pastel chinos. So, whether it's evening outfits, holiday heroes or benchmark bombers that you're after, this is the place to look.
For its 18-year span, D&G took fun seriously. For one last time, you should too. Or you will just be left wanting more.
