Born in Ohio, Nanette Lepore launched her design career in 1992 after humble beginnings of fashioning a floral dress from a bedspread. The now consistently elegant designer is based in New York's West Village and shows on-schedule at NY fashion week. She has watched her business go from strength to strength, by creating perfectly pretty dresses suitable for tea at the Ritz or a picnic in the park

Lepore created her 'La Dolce Vita' dress in navy lace, which is perfect for Roman holidays. Her grey and fuchsia pink silk 'muse' dress will steal all the glances as you walk into the room
