The American Retro Story:

Despite the name, American Retro is in fact a French brand which is fast gaining International acclaim. Launched by brothers David and Gregory Pariente in September 2002, its remit was to create a complimentary wardrobe for jeans – the one piece of fashion which will never disappear from the modern woman's closet.

Tailoring takes a central role this season with cigarette and straight leg trousers offered alongside cute shawl collar-inspired waistcoats. Crisp cropped white trousers complete with detachable braces have a light-hearted appeal while sheer and strapless metallic jacquard dresses step it up for the glamour puss
