When Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall ran away to Marrakesh together to avoid press attention (and the fact that Jerry was technically engaged to Brian Ferry at the time) I bet they stopped off in a market place somewhere, so that Jerry could buy a bag just like this baby.
2. jeans
Let the skinnies rest - for a season or two, at least. It is all about the flares, as of right this instant. These J Brand jeans are a) perfect, and b) named after a classic bit of seventies movie making
3. top
When chic jet set seventies woman was not being somewhat debauched in the decadent environment of Studio 54, she was floating about Club 55 in St Tropez, and probably wearing something very like this. Or so my sources tell me.
4. shorts
Seventies Woman loved this wash on a denim short, too.
5. wedge
The only way to wear a flare. Which is compulsory this season, and so, by extension, so is the wearing of a wedge.
6. day dress
And she’d change into this frock for sundowners on the harbour side. Fancy floaty whimsy people, it was all about the fancy floaty whimsy!
7. coat
The ineffable chic-ness! The elegance on the sleeve crop, the simplicity of the line, the contrast on the tan leather trim... It’s almost enough to make you hope the summer weather will be a bit crap.
8. cuff
And this heavy gold cuff would look astonishingly fit when worn in conjunction with that super-simple white dress.
9. evening dress
It is a goddess dress, with pleats. What here is not to like? WHAT?
10. Jumpsuit
If the distilled essence of Studio 54 could be realised in fashion from, it would look like this. No one needs a jumpsuit, and yet - everyone should have one. Seriously.
