The Story:

Branded ‘A true visionary’ by super stylist Patricia Field, Alex Bittar is one of the world’s most exciting jewellery designers. Aged just 22, the New York creative’s first collection caught the eye of Bergdorf Goodman’s Fashion Director, Dawn Mello, and after forays into furniture design and collaborations with MOMA, Bittar hit the big time. From his ready-to-wear jewellery collection for Burberry to partnerships with Michael Kors, Patricia Field and Jason Wu, Bittar's work was splashed across the international fashion press and in 2008 his designs graced the front cover of French Vogue. This season Lauren Hutton is the face of his collection, he counts Michelle Obama amongst his fans, he designs for Lady Gaga and his eponymous jewellery collection is sold in more than 34 countries worldwide.
