One of the most exciting jewellery designers working today, Mawi Keivom spent her childhood travelling the world and taking in its many and varied inspirations. Her eye for detail was sharpened under the formal training of Izaac Mizrahi and Bill Amberg. She launched her own line in 2002 and was propelled into the spotlight after her autumn 2003 London Fashion Week debut gained her both the venerated New Generation sponsorship, and a wealth of top-tier stockists.
The 'Industrial Loves' collection features heavy gold mechanical chains with chunky trinkets and oversized Swarovski stones in glittering black, pistachio and raspberry. Much like estate jewellery, these are like hidden treasures newly discovered!
Like a magpie's eclectic selection of gems, Mawi's designs borrow tusks and crystals, enamel animals and vintage charms for a truly original blend of thrift-store styling meets contemporary design
